ALREADY 58 CITIES SIGNED THE BARCELONA DECLARATION

On April 21st of 2016, mayors from all over Europe gathered in Barcelona for the first Pan European meeting of local authorities against the new generation free trade agreements: TTIP, CETA and TiSA. This meeting concluded by the adoption of a common declaration, the so called: Barcelona Decalaration.

Since then, many mayors joined the movement and decided to sign the text. By doing so, they clearly express their opposition to TTIP, CETA and TiSA. Indeed, these treaties will jeopardise local authorities and their capacity to take progressive policies for the common goods.
